Luke Bryan fans AT WAR with each other after star brings Ron DeSantis on stage during concert
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA: Fans are shocked and warring with each other after Luke Bryan asked Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis to come on stage during his concert. The country singer was performing in Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday and invited the governor on stage at some point during his performance to tell the audience that they would be raising money that night for Hurricane Ian recovery efforts, TMZ reports.
On Friday, Bryan visited Jacksonville, Florida, as part of his 'Raised Up Right' tour. Because of Hurricane Ian, the country music icon had to cancel three of his scheduled performances in Florida. The singer ended up postponing these and changing venues. A video of Friday's performance was posted on social media and shows Bryan walking onto the arena at the start of the event, with the lights on and no music playing. Before inviting the Florida governor on stage, Bryan began speaking to the audience about the tragic hurricane. The governor enters the stage to loud cheers and begins throwing hats into the audience. When they finally face each other, Luke hugs him.

Another user tweeted, "When you want your musical career to end, you do this at your concert." One LB supported said, "Great response from the audience….loved it… I’m sure liberals will now have nasty things to say about Luke…..Luke is a great man." One user responded to the tweet and wrote, "What makes him great? Does he build schools for children, help the homeless, feed the starving?? I don’t know the guy but I’m curious what makes him great other than being a white republican." Another user wrote, Keep politics out of music. Isn’t that the rule?" One fan positively reacted, "Always loved Luke, love him even more now DeSantis Rocks." Another said, "I don’t know who Luke Bryan is, but for me, the real star is Gov DeSantis." People claim that LB is "off the playlist" because of his perceived politics, yet all he did was declare he wanted to contribute to fundraising in the state to aid those still trying to recover. One user said, "And Luke Bryan just got crossed off the playlist."

However, it appears that several Twitter users are shocked by the fact that the 'American Idol' got into it with DeSantis. One user tweeted, "I’m honestly shocked! How could you sing “I believe you love who you love ain’t nothing you should ever be ashamed of” and then bring the don’t say gay governor out on stage???" One disgusted fan wrote, "I crossed him off from the beginning. Never liked his music and always thought something just didn't sit right. Never knew why, there was just something I didn't like. Then a few months back,he went Last Vegas and gambled away millions, then ask his fans to send him money! Now this." Another user wrote, "That’s probably the sound of Luke Bryan losing thousands of fans."I always liked @lukebryan as a person, but since he brought politics by having Desantis appear at his concert, not so much now. #ByeByeLuke,' tweeted another.
