LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Streaming star Ludwig Ahgren teamed up with a group of co-founders to launch Offbrand, a company that partners with prominent creators to produce events and host special streams. With the inclusion of streaming sensation Jerma and the former members of Beyond the Summit (BTS), a now-defunct esports organizer, the creative agency is strengthening its team to offer even more innovative and unique events to its clients. The company was founded with the goal of not only helping other content creators with their events along with building a sustainable business model for Ludwig's post-streaming career. 

Offbrand's decision to expand its horizons with new signings and a new vertical clearly indicates its commitment to evolving and improving. The creative agency's move towards diversifying revenue streams is a smart one, as it will give the company more avenues for growth and success. Here are three key takeaways from Ahgren's announcement about Offbrand: 

1. Key hires

Jeremy “Jerma” Elbertson, a Twitch streamer renowned for hosting innovative and ground-breaking events, will take on the role of Chief Creative Officer at Offbrand. David Gorman and Daniel Najarian, who have previously worked at Beyond the Summit, will join Jerma at Offbrand as executives. The company has also announced the appointment of Kelby May, previously of Loaded Gaming Management, as its Chief Revenue Officer. With an ever-growing team, they are not only expanding their creative capabilities but also effectively diversifying their revenue streams.

2. Jerma’s ingenuity will be crucial

Offbrand has recently welcomed a new addition to its leadership team. A Bostonian named Jerma, aged 37, has joined the team alongside its co-founders, Nick Allen, Nathan Stanz, and Phil Ahgren. According to Allen, who spoke with Tubefilter, Ahgren is in charge of Offbrand's creative department, and both he and Stanz are essential members of the company's management team. Jerma's ingenuity will be crucial within that creative department. Allen claimed that Ahgren "thinks very macro" and frequently asks "what's the big idea" throughout the development process. Jerma, on the other hand, is very attentive to the little things. Therefore, Offbrand will be able to ask its new Chief Creative Officer for advice if it requires a "hilarious way" to introduce a particular prop or episode.

3. Offbrand's latest productions are already changing

In light of its new team members, Offbrand's latest productions are already changing. The company's events began with joint productions in partnership with creators like Jerma and Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. Now, the company's recent hires have already started to leave their mark on Offbrand's next projects. Its latest charity auction, hosted by Welsh creator CDawgVA (real name Connor Colquhoun), was a result of the team's creative input.

As part of Offbrand's growth, more team members have also joined, namely Gorman and Najarian, and they will lead a new vertical called Offbrand Productions that will be crewed by former Beyond the Summit staff members. The goal of the growing team, however, remains the same that is to create content for creators who have not previously had the opportunity to do so.
