Hannah Wright picked Marco Donatelli after coming second in the first challenge of 'Love Island USA Season 5

PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 5 is making things messier with each passing episode. The new bombshells Hannah Wright and Carmen Kocourek already twisted the storyline with their appearance. The new entries were given the chance to pick up the boy of their choice, leaving two girls in the villa in a vulnerable position. 

In Episode 3's challenge, the teams were divided into two. One team was led by Hannah, while the other by Carmen. At the end of the episode, we saw Carmen's team winning the challenge. This gave her a chance to choose a partner first. Did Carmen backstab her friend by choosing the man they both liked?

Did Carmen backstab Hannah?

It surely seemed like!l it! Victor Gonzalez was guy to catch the eye of both the bombshells. Carmen, being the winner of the first challenge, got the chance to choose the boy she liked before Hannah. Carmen was well aware that Hannah also like him and they have had an indefinite number of conversations about Victor ever since they walked into the villa. But she didn't leave him for her friend. As Carmen got to pick first, she chose Victor for himself. Hannah was a bit disappointed by the answer as she herself was looking forward to choosing him. 

As Carmen stole her friend Hanaah's choice, one viewer tweeted, "Hannah and Carmen wanted Victor didn't they." Another wrote, "Victor is kissing everyone I’m confused." One fan speculated, "Hannah and Carmen are about to beef now." 

Hannah Wright picks Marco Donatelli after first challenge

Hannah l, who was left with no choice, picked Marco Donatelli. Marco and Victor are considered as two hottest guys in the villa. Stealing both of them from other islanders made Hannah and Carmen the hot commodity. After watching the episode, one viewer tweeted, "Hannah and Carmen made the right choices. They went for the hottest beefcakes in the house." As Hannah picked Marco, a fan joked, "Hannah saying Marco gave her a lot of eye contact when she came in when that’s the same thing Destiny said and look at her now I got your tea Marco Polo."

Another wrote, "Not surprised by either of the bombshell’s choices. I do think Hannah would’ve picked Victor though if she went first." One joked, "Hannah got Marco away from my sister Destiny!!! Let’s send some good looking men QUICKLY."

'Love Island USA' Season 5 premiered on Peacock on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. During premiere week, new episodes will be available to stream every day at 9 pm ET. Subsequently, new episodes will be released on Thursdays through Tuesdays on Peacock.
