Plot
According to the synopsis for ‘Love In The Forecast’, Leah Waddell is tired of her bleak dating life and her patience is wearing thin as she isn’t able to sell herself as a budding meteorologist. However, fate had other plans for Leah as it starts pouring rain and men as soon as she decides to remain single for the rest of her life. Though she manages to stay away from nay romantic offers, she finds herself drawn to her neighbor Mark, a handsome dairy farmer who had the ability to predict the weather using the signs of nature.

Canadian actress Cindy Busby will be essaying the role of Leah Waddell in ‘Love In The Forecast’. She began her acting career with theater in 2005. She made her debut on television with the ‘Bethune’. She appeared as series regular on ‘Heartland’. She’s played the antagonist alongside Ashley Tisdale and Kavin Pollak in ‘Picture This’ and later appeared in CW's ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Busby’s notable works include ‘A Christmas in Royal Fashion’, ‘12 Rounds 2: Reloaded’, and ‘The Big Year’.
Christopher Russell
Christopher Russell is a first-generation Canadian born to British parents. In ‘Love In The Forecast’, he will be seen as the charming dairy farm owner Mark. The 36-year-old actor is popular for his roles in ‘Land of the Dead’, ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ and ‘Flashpoint’. He has also appeared as Madison in ABC Family’s comedy pilot ‘Gorgeous Morons’.

‘Love In the Forecast’ is directed by Christie Will Wolf and written by Barbara Kymlicka. Wolf is known for helming ‘Her Coming’ which helped her win the Directors Guild of Canada’s ‘Legacy Award’. She also wrote and directed her first feature film ‘Slightly Single in LA’ which turned out to be a hit among young viewers. She next worked on the comedy ‘Boy Toy’, which was released by Liogates.
