LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The story of Candy Montgomery starts on a fascinating note, but it clearly becomes a diabolical one once it moves forward. In the first episode of ‘Love & Death,’ we saw how Candy behaved like a Huntress to get what she wanted to. She was not happy in her married life and wanted some excitement. So, she decided to have an extra-marital affair with the husband of her best friend. They ended up having sex with each other and started a new relationship. When the episode ended, we could see that Candy (Elizabeth Olsen) was getting more and more invested in the relationship and in the second episode, she confesses that she is getting too much into this and doesn’t want to fall in love with Allan Gore.

Allan assures her that they won’t fall in love with each other and everything would be smooth. On the other hand, Betty’s (Lily Rabe) belly is growing and she needs full attention. Allan is there, but Betty feels that he doesn’t like her anymore and doesn’t even want to touch her. One night while sleeping with each other, Betty tries to be intimate with Allan (Jesse Plemons) but he just shrugs off his shoulder when she touches him. Betty gets really hurt and starts to cry. She knows that Allan doesn’t like her anymore and even though Allan tries making her understand that there’s nothing like that, Betty just ends the conversation by sleeping.

Allan tries pulling out of the affair

By seeing this, Allan meets Candy and lets her know that they need to end their affair because he is hurting Betty. They made a pact that if Betty or Pat will get hurt, they will end this. However, Candy gets aggressive when Allan says that and is not listening to what he is saying. But Allan makes the decision and steps out of the affair. Betty and Allan decide to go to couples therapy to make their marriage work and they start sharing things that have been bothering them. It rejuvenates their relationship and they end up having sex.

Trouble in Candy's paradise

Candy and Pat were babysitting their children in their absence. When the couple returns from their therapy, them seemed to be absolutely different. They looked happy with each other and as soon as Allan told Candy that the therapy was absolutely great.

Candy is certainly irritated with what’s happening because this affair was something that was giving her happiness. More than that, it seemed Candy was falling in love with Allan and didn’t want to share him with Betty.

The situation is getting weirder and weirder because Candy’s mind seems to be not working in the right manner. Now, she looks like a woman who is ready to do anything and everything to get what she wants.

What will she do now? Will Candy and Allan continue their affair? Or Allan would take a step back to take care of his family.
