Mona Scott Young is best known as the executive producer of VH1's hit reality franchise 'Love & Hip Hop'. Over the years we have seen Mona become a household name, thanks to her stint both behind and in front of the camera on various 'Love & Hip Hop' franchises. But have you ever wondered what Mona did before becoming one of the most popular producers in the industry? Well, we got you covered. Read on to know all about Mona and her career trajectory.

Mona's Wikipedia page mentions that the 53-year-old producer was working at Radio City Music Hall when she was offered the opportunity to manage a Brooklyn-based group called TrackMasters. She reportedly met Chris Lighty, a music executive through the group and the duo eventually went on to set up their own management company called Violator in 1996. Mona's exceptional work through Violator has been well-documented.

But much before she began dabbling in the world of artist management, Mona was a video vixen. The latest episode of 'Love & Hip Hop: Secrets Unlocked' revealed what Mona did way before she began managing artists. The host of the show Kendall Kyndall played an old music video and zoomed in on one of the dancers in the video. The highlighted girl could be seen popping & locking all over the screen. He then urged the cast members of 'love & Hip Hop' to guess who the dancer was.

When none of the cast members managed to guess the identity of the dancer, Kendall revealed that it was none other than their boss lady herself โ€” Mona Scott. Ray J looked shocked at learning that the girl who was dancing so enthusiastically in the video was his boss. Mona's IMDb page reveals that the popular producer starred in Canadian musician Snow's video called 'Informer' as the dancer.
