The reserved British singer has the Internet buzzing as his new picture has surfaced on social media after a gap of 6 months

Former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson was all of a sudden trending on Twitter when the most recent selfie from his Instagram story went viral on the micro-blogging site. In the selfie, the 28-year-old British singer can be seen in a medium close-up shot with long well-combed and side-parted hair along with a grey hoodie as he directly looks into the camera.

Tomlinson has got people talking as his new picture has surfaced on the Internet almost after a gap of six months. The British crooner usually stays away from social media and keeps his life real personal. Also, the last he was trending was a few weeks ago when his debut album ‘Walls’ scored the numero uno position on iTunes chart. One Direction fans went bonkers after his new picture started trending on Twitter. One user said, “you’ve changed.” yeah, no sh*t. Louis Tomlinson just posted a selfie for the first time in months.” Another shared a funny GIF and stated, “this is a visual representation of the inside of my brain after louis posted the selfie while I was still drooling over the golden picture and THEN NIALL. and ofc Liam, our active little angel.” One fan added, “You are looking gorgeous, cute and healthy. I am so happy @Louis_Tomlinson”

However, he still keeps his personal life away from the limelight despite the fact his fans have a keen interest in his love life. But, don’t you worry as we got you covered on this.

For the unversed, the singer is currently dating Eleanor Calder, his long-time girlfriend, who was there throughout his time in One Direction and ever since. The couple split for a couple of years in between and Louis dated other people but they came back together. Louis and Eleanor first got together in 2011 but split in 2015. They then got back in 2017 and are stronger than ever, as reported by Capital FM.  

The website J-14 reports that the singer spoke to The Sun in January 2020 regarding Eleanor and asserted, “The luxury with Eleanor is I’ve known her since before our first single ‘What Makes You Beautiful,’ so she’s felt the whole growth of everything. As I’ve got to understand it, she has too, and I have the benefit with her that we’ve seen it for what it is.” However, as mentioned earlier, Louis and Eleanor had a few bumps along the way. It was reported that he cheated on the Instagram star and dated ‘The Originals’ actress Danielle Campbell, hairstylist Briana Jungwirth, who gave birth to his son, Freddie and others.

J-14 reports that Bethaney Larkman was the very first girl Louis ever dated. They were together from 2007 to 2009 but all ended when Louis shot to fame around the same time. Then came Louis’ high school sweetheart Hannah Walker who had first encouraged him to audition for ‘The X Factor.’ But, soon there was trouble in paradise and they parted their ways after a year as he became part of One Direction and their schedule got really messy.

The British singer, as well all know then dated Eleanor Calder. They were first spotted together in 2011 at Niall Horan‘s birthday party. The lovely couple dated for four years before eventually calling it quits in March 2015 which was apparently due to musician’s hectic work schedule, reports J-14.  The vocalist then again made headlines for apparently cheating on Eleanor after he was papped kissing a girl In Thailand. The woman later got identified as Lucy Julian who according to reports, starred in the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ music video back in the day.

Briana Jungwirth is another woman which Louis dated. The couple made headlines in May 2015 when the duo was clicked together leaving a few nightclubs together in May 2015. Later it was reported that she was expecting the singer’s first child. But unfortunately, this relationship did not work either for the singer. She did give birth to their son, Freddie.  In June 2015, Louis was papped at Glastonbury Festival with Tamara Bell. Curious fans even noticed that the brunette beauty was wearing his clothes. However, this relationship was short-lived as they were never spotted again together. Cut to November 2015, J-14 reports that Louis was seen hanging out with actress Danielle Campbell. The singer even flew to Chicago to spend the holidays with the actress and her family a month later. The duo constantly expressed their love in public. They were spotted at various events despite their own busy schedules. But as luck had it, the couple split in December 2016, just weeks after the death of Louis’ mom.

According to the website J-14, it was later revealed that it was the unfortunate death of the singer’s mom that brought Louis and Eleanor together again. The now inseparable couple even got matching tattoos of each other’s initials on their hands.
