'They don't give AF': Outrage after Louis CK’s Grammy win, compared to Will Smith’s Oscar ‘slap-gate’
Netizens are in a frenzy about Louis CK winning the 2022 Grammys for the Best Comedy Album. CK's comeback album 'Sincerely Louis C.K.' beat recordings by fellow comedy legends like Kevin Hart, Nate Bargatze, Lewis Black, Chelsea Handler, and Lavell Crawford to win the prestigious honor.
The comedy special was CK's first after he confessed to openly masturbating in front of a group of women without their consent in 2017. The 54-year-old comedian was not present to receive the award that has been labeled 'uncanceled' by many.

In a 2017 statement, CK had said, "At the time, I said to myself that what I did was OK because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn't a question. It's a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly."
Four years after the controversy, CK is back on stage and is planning tours. As per his official website, he will spend May and June touring some European countries. It is reported that some shows have already sold out.
