Every communication line gets distorted because the robots are there.

They are planning to evacuate all kids, but they are stopped in their tracks because of the debris of the spaceship. Everyone runs away, but Will gets to Penny (Mina Sundwall) and tells her that she is the one who needs to get the engine safely back because robots can use them in destroying planets. So, Penny goes there and recovers the engine. She is soon joined by Judy (Taylor Russell) as they take the engine back. Will is losing his heartbeat and the Robot takes him to a spot and covers him by saying “Trust, Will Robinson”. The lightning strikes him as he puts his hand on his heart. ‘Lost in Space’ Season 3 Ending Explained: How did Maureen and others manage to save themselves in absence of Will? Did anyone die?

The other members of the group had the engine in their possession and they wanted to save that from the evil robots, especially SAR. They get an idea of getting themselves inside the Jupiters and save themselves by putting “in” wire into the “out” slot to get an electric field over the Jupiter that would kill the robots. Don does the work and manages to fix the capacitor on time so that others were saved. However, soon the fuel ran out and they were vulnerable again. SAR comes above Jupiter and attacks them, but they manage to get out.

Grant Kelly takes the children to a safer place while Maureen and John take the engine away. They are attacked by the evil robots and they get badly injured. Maureen gets flashbacks of her childhood life which gives her the courage to get up and fight for their future. She, along with John, manages to kill one of the robots but the second one attacks them.

Will comes to the rescue at the right time and has some music with him. He has sent that music to everyone else and they play at the same time. The music is the eerie voices made by robots that said no to help Will and his robot. Will tells SAR to turn off the engine, but he refuses to do so. John says that SAR will take everyone down with it. Will stops the music and SAR attack his heart once again, but this time, nothing happens because of the thing that his robot inserted. A blue kind of light from Will’s heart goes inside SAR’s body and turns it into a good robot. He turns off the engine.
