'Lost in Space' Season 3 Episode 7: Alpha Centauri in trouble as SAR enters the planet
It’s the penultimate episode of ‘Lost in Space’ Season 3 and if you believed that the show is going to give you a strong foundation for an epic finale, then you are absolutely right. The seventh episode of the Netflix sci-fi had everything that you needed from a penultimate episode that perfectly sets the finale.
During the previous episode, we saw Will (Maxwell Jenkins) being outclassed by SAR. The evil robot pierced his heart with one of the weapons and the Robinsons had to bring him to Alpha Centauri for treatment. Episode 7 starts off from where the sixth episode ended, they reach Alpha Centauri and take Will to the hospital. They tell the chancellor of the planet about SAR and ask her if the planet had some kind of defense system. The chancellor doesn’t know about it, but they get to know that one man might know about the defense system, and it's none other than Officer Hastings, the officer who has been into jail for betraying his own people.

He says that he’ll help them if they manage to get him out of prison. Hastings comes out and tries to help them. However, the Robot (Brian Steele) also reaches there and kills Hastings. John (Toby Stephens) and one of his friends begin searching for Robot. On the other hand, Judy, Penny, and Don also make a plan to search for Robot. Vijay overhears their conversation and also goes with them.
They find the Robot inside a dam which could help in running enough power to run the defense system. However, they need a special code to turn the defense system on and only two people have possession of that. One was Hastings and the other was Ben Adler. They meet Adler’s wife and go through all his recordings and videos to get the code in his voice. They luckily get the code and they manage to turn on the defense systems.
Elsewhere, Penny and the gang reach the dam and find out that SAR is there along with more robots. They make a plan to stop the robots by destroying the third turbine and it’s Judy who goes inside. But SAR sees her and tries to attack her. Fortunately, Will’s robot reaches there and helps Judy. As soon as the evil robots trying to attach Will’s robot, he puts a big hole in one of the containers and a large quantity of water takes the evil robots away.
However, the problem is that it has managed to damage the third turbine and as soon as it stops working, the power of the entire town goes away. There are generators, but they are not powerful enough to keep the defense systems running. The episode ends with the team getting an energy spike from outside the atmosphere, making Maureen believe that other evil robots are here.
