It hasn't been a great day or a great season for Danny Green. The Los Angeles Lakers by prediction were supposed to be winning the game against the Denver Nuggets. However, at the time of writing, the scoreboard read 101-98 with Nuggets leading by a slim margin. Twitterati was harsh on Danny Green in particular for an average outing.

"Danny Green is getting paid 30 million just to do cardio," one of the fans opined.

"Lakers not having home court advantage in LA anymore is big for many reasons but especially because the fans cant give Danny Green the KCP treatment," read another tweet.

Call it a bad run or just a string of bad luck as Green failed to shoot. Most would opine that for a player who possessed immense talent, these shots should be a walk in the park. Instead, the going got a lot tougher for Green as he missed quite a few shots that would have changed the way the scores. "Alright man I trust J Cole to hit a 3 more than Danny Green at this point..." a fan commented.

And as far as digs go, this one's hilarious, but it does not mask the disappointment of the Lakers fans. "Don’t let anthony davis’ performance distract you from danny green doing cardio out there."

The Los Angeles Lakers are reeling from two consecutive defeats at the moment and this was supposed to be the game where the magic would come back, instead, it looks like the woes are here to stay as they trail behind the Nuggets.

"Danny green has never been that good. Yes he could shoot for a while but he’s literally made more plays like this than Javelle McGee in his career. I swear pop used to get into him every other game," one of the fans remarked as there was a flurry of tweets criticizing Green.

"Raptor fans were happy to see him sign that huge contract with the lakers. Love Danny and love he got paid, just happy it wasn’t us who pay him. He’s definitely peeked last year and is going downhill fast," read one of the opinions.

And hopefully, Green gets his mojo back. The Lakers can do with some of it right now.
