IDAHO COUNTY, IDAHO: A short clip of ‘Doomsday mom’ Lori Vallow, who was indicted on May 25, 2021, for the murder of her two children Tylee Ryan and Joshua Jaxon Vallow, showed her spiritualizing everything, including her appearance on ‘Wheel Of Fortune’, her former sister-in-law Annie Cushing revealed in the Netflix show 'Sins of Our Mother’.

Lori took part in 'Wheel of Fortune' in 2004 where she won $17,500, as per DeseretNews. During the game, she told the host of the show Pat Sajak about her “wonderful husband Joseph [Ryan]” who was taking care of their “two beautiful children,” Colby and Tylee Ryan. Colby was seven at the time and Tylee was one. Narrating the episode, Annie told in the three-part docuseries, "I think that she always had this inclination to super spiritualize everything...Her telling of the story was, God told her that she was going to be on Wheel of Fortune. She had to have that extra validation of like, no she heard from God."

‘Sins of Our Mother’

The docuseries narrates the dark tale of Lori, a mother accused of murdering two of her children. All three episodes of the series get to the bottom of how a seemingly dedicated wife and mother ended up in prison for allegedly murdering her children. In an interview with E! News, director Skye Borgman told, "Lori Vallow has many faces. That of a mother, sister, wife…and liar. I don’t know if we will ever know exactly what motivated Lori to commit such unspeakable crimes. But to formulate any answer we must look at Lori through the eyes of the people who knew her best.”

The confusing case of Lori is yet to come to its conclusion, with her trial - alongside husband Chad Daybell - scheduled for January 2023. As previously reported, Lori and Chad were indicted in 2021 on first-degree murder charges and other counts in the September 2019 deaths of her children, Tylee, 16, and Joshua, 7. The charges also included the death of Daybell’s first wife, Tammy Daybell.

Lori met Chad in 2018 while she was married to Charles Vallow, her fourth husband, who was murdered in July 2019 by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Just over a month after Charles' death, the husband of Lori's niece, Brandon Boudreaux, was shot during an attempted drive-by believed to be carried out by Alex.
