From small-town life to West Coast stardom

Loren Gray hails from the little town of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, which is located west of Philadelphia. She recalled to Flaunt how being in this place as a child felt like a typical childhood, she said,  "It was really normal, I have pretty great parents..I went to normal public school, just average." However, things later became very unaverage. Gray remembered while talking with Idolator.

 During a 2018 interview with Billboard, Gray told that her biggest guilty pleasure is watching TV,  specifically, baking shows. She said, "I watch baking shows on YouTube. I have found some on Netflix, like The Great British Baking Show, I watch them all."



 

'I don't want to be that person'

In an interview with Forbes, Gray explained that while she observes numerous celebrities and influencers moving to Beverly Hills for fame, "I don't want to be that person. I don't want to exploit what I have to make money." She went on to explain, "A lot of influencers look at their fans as dollar signs."

A forensic Anthropologist

According to Seventeen, Gray would be participating in school cheerleading and track if she hadn't started out on social media. In addition, she desired a career in forensic anthropology.

In a 2020 interview with J-14, she said, "I’ve always had a passion for jewelry and wanted to create something that would connect me to my fans. Jewelry is such a personal thing and the fact that it now connects me and my fanbase is so special to me.”
