'Loose Women' stars slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who recently released a new book, titled 'Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family'. The panelists on the show, Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, Saira Khan and Jane Moore, had been discussing the pair's new biography and had dubbed it as a 'money-spinner'. Harry and Meghan have currently settled in the USA after quitting the royal family.

Khan and Moore had also said the couple had "abandoned the British people." Khan shared, "I was a really big Harry and Meghan fan. When they got married, for me, it was the first mixed marriage in the Royal Family," the Daily Mail reports.

"I thought there was loads of hope and excitement - and then it got dark very quickly. I feel they really abandoned the British people so I'm not actually going to be really very interested in what they are doing. For many of us who were Harry and Meghan fans, I just feel like they've abandoned us," she added.

"They've left us, they've left the family and they've left this country," she continued. Co-host Jane was in agreement and said, "They've pushed back against the British so much – not everybody, but I think the majority of the British public think, 'Well alright then if you don't want us to have anything to do with you that's absolutely fine!'"

"But why should they then go out and buy this book?" she questioned. Her other co-host Robson questioned where the money made from the biography was going. "What about the money? You get a lot of money for these biographies don't you? Where's the money going?" she asked.

Reports reveal that an insider had spoken to the Mail and revealed that Meghan hopes the book will help clarify why they made their shocking decision to resign as senior members of the royal family.

It is also believed that Meghan hopes that the publication will help provide a clean slate for the couple. "If Meghan had it her way, the book would be released tomorrow instead of three months from now. She said the book will finally set the record straight and show the world why they were left with no other choice than to leave the royal life," sources revealed.

The source added how Meghan is keen for the public to know that her life has not been a fairytale and wants them to "see the genuine person that she is". She also wants to dust off the "image of being a demanding diva."

We had previously reported that the couple has reportedly been staying at an ultra-luxury Beverly Hills mansion that belongs to Tyler Perry. The couple has been calling the mansion estimated at $18 million home ever since they moved to LA. Perry's mansion boasts of eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and is located on 22 acres on top of a hill in the exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates guard-gated community.

It is currently unknown whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are renting the property or are staying there as guests.
