Kardashian sisters seem to be seething over Kylie Jenner's $600m windfall, as they blank baby sister's achievement
Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, 22, sold a majority stake in her cosmetics company for a whopping $600 million on Monday making headlines across the world.
While the rest of the world was impressed and in awe of the sale, Jenner's own family did not have anything to say about her massive payday. Her older sisters -- Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian made no comment on social media to acknowledge Jenner and her huge achievement.
Khloe Kardashian, 35, was seen celebrating the 'OG trio' with her two sisters Kim and Kourtney. The post shared by Khloe featured the trio's newest KKW fragrance. Khloe also shared a picture of her gorgeous home but made no mention of Kylie. According to KUWTK viewers, Khloe had always been close to Jenner and so it was surprising that none of the sisters made any comments.
Kim Kardashian, 39, has been very occupied with her Skims range, her Rodney Reed interview, and her KKW beauty line. She may not have congratulated her sister, but she did congratulate Khloe's BFF Malika Haqq and her sister Khadijah on their new show. As for Kourtney, the last 24 hours have seen her promoting her KKW fragrance as well as her Poosh website.
Momager Kris Jenner had a lot to say on the subject and was proud of her daughter. While speaking to CNBC's Squawk Box, the 64-year-old shared, "Yesterday was a really big day for Kylie and our team at Kylie Cosmetics. [It was] truly a moment for our family to be proud. It's kind of a crystallization of all our work... This is her baby and this is her dream, to build this beauty empire".
Kylie Jenner sold around 51% of her makeup and skincare businesses to beauty giant Coty. Coty owns around 77 brands which include CoverGirl, Hugo Boss, Burberry, Rimmel and Max Factor.
