'Looks like a toddler went to town': Billie Eilish's abstract back tattoo gets mercilessly trolled

Singer Billie Eilish chose to get a sprawling design, with swirls and scratch patterns, which stretches from the nape of her neck to her lower back

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billie Eilish showed off her massive new back tattoo in her latest Instagram dump.

The 21-year-old 'Bad Guy' superstar shared the complete design of the tattoo in a red-and-black-themed Instagram carousel.

This is the newest addition to the singer's tattoos after she recently appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' 

What did Billie Eilish get tattooed on her back?

The photo she shared on October 18 shows a sprawling spinal tattoo on the singer.

On September 21, she shared a small snippet of the same tattoo, which showed only the nape of her neck. But the latest photo seems to be taken right after completing the ink outline.

Tattoo artist Matias Milan has done the design.

Eilish chose a style, which is abstract and sci-fi-esque. The blank-ink tattoo with swirls and scratch pattern spans from the nape of the singer's neck to her lower back.

She captioned the photo dump with a scissors emoji.

Another was a screenshot of Canadian rapper Drakes' lyrics 'Another Late Night' referencing Eilish: "She had big tits like Billie Eilish, but she can't sing."

What other tattoos does Billie Eilish have?

Eilish has a tattoo of fairies on her hand. The art work is taken from 'Fairyopolis', a book the singer adored when growing up.

"They're like my little guardian angel fairies," said Eilish in her 2021 Vanity Fair interview.

She also inked her name, 'Eilish,' outlined in a gothic font on her sternum.

Her third tattoo was relatively hidden. People got a glimpse of it after the 2021 Met Gala when the singer posed in a high-slit red gown inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The dragon tattoo reaches her upper thigh from her lower abdomen. The ultra-detailed tattoo has winding whiskers, sharp teeth, and a noticeable spike.

Eilish previously liked to keep her inks private.

However, sharing her latest tattoo on Instagram has attracted massive online trolling.

A user said, "Looks like a toddler with a marker went to town..."

One user asked, "did she just ask for scribbles?"

"What is that supposed to be?" asked a third user.

Another astonished user stated, "This looks ugly and horrifying. A child will scared away at first sight."

Users shared numerous memes mocking Eilish's new tattoo.
