BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: Athlete Lolo Jones has disclosed that in 2022, she has had three distinct male stalkers, two of whom broke into the Olympic training facility while one showed up at her house door. The Olympic gold medallist wrote in a gloomy Instagram post that the occurrences had "altered my life" and put her friends' and her own safety in danger while appearing distressed and dressed in a black hooded jacket.

Jones, who chose to remain a virgin, also shared a picture shot by her front door camera that appeared to show a stranger inside her house, who claimed to police that she had welcomed him to move in. The hurdler and bobsledder told her 569,000 followers about another distressing incident in which a man broke into the US Olympic training facility in Colorado Springs and spent the night in the hopes of meeting her. Her friends had been bothered by the third stalker, reported Daily Mail.

She also included some safety advice for women in the post, advising them to "carry protection" like pepper spray or a lipstick taser to make them "feel more at ease." The 40-year-old 100-meter hurdler wrote on Instagram, "In the last year, I've had three different male stalkers." She added, "Three times now where guys have crossed the line, jeopardized my and my friends safety & altered my life. One guy broke into the Olympic training center and stayed overnight in hopes to find me. Another guy has continued to harass my friends in attempts to reach me." Jones went on, "And lastly, a guy stalked my house and told the police he knew me from Instagram and I invited him to come live with me. I'm DONE. If there was any confusion here is me being very f*****g clear: I'm not interested. EVER. This is not the way to go."

Jones' friends and followers soon started to express concern. A person commented, "This right here is why concealed carry is the best thing you can do to empower yourself as a woman!!" Another user said, "Sounds like You need Security! Peiod." One user wrote, "Absolutely positively agree everyone & especially females should carry these days. A protection order is a useless piece of paper & police have a response time; even the fastest of which is too late." Another person commented, "I can definitely relate to this. Stay safe pls." Another person said,, "I’m so sorry! We’ve been through this with Gracie. Working to improve stalking laws in most every state. Stay safe girl!"
