Lizzo twerks in sheer lingerie for Valentine's Day but fans are not impressed: 'She has no self-respect'
Lizzo is all about those curves! The singer recently took to social media and left very little to the imagination while being dressed in black lingerie. At the beginning of the video, Lizzo stood straight and showed off her curves before incorporating some twerks.
For those who have seen Lizzo, they will know that the singer loves to show off her moves and this video was no different. The singer captioned the video as, "Getting ready for side nigga day ❤️ love u babe"
While Lizzo did not make mention of who this mystery man is, there is no doubt that the video hints that she is about to have a time of her life. Even though Lizzo seemed to be enjoying, people were not impressed with the post. Some thought that the singer had taken things too far and needed to stop.
"Confidence is one thing. Cool. But goddamn, what happened to self-respect? Modesty? She’s slowly losing her shock value and is doing whatever she can to get attention. At one point she has to think this is too far," read one comment.
Another added, "Girl I'm all for confidence but girl u doing too much now." Some thought that Lizzo did not respect herself as another comment read, "She has NO respect for herself. At all." However, there were a few who also defended the singer and stated that her confidence was noteworthy.
"You’re a proud, beautiful black woman. Why do you have to display yourself like this?" one wrote while another defended her by writing, "I love how some of these comments are like “omg unfollow” meanwhile if it was some thin or slim or Nicki Minaj looking body y’all wouldn’t be complying 😂 , as a matter of fact, Nicki has probably done worse things in her music videos for literally everyone to see than Lizzo and I’m sure Nicki gets the negativity too but it’s most likely more for being Inappropriate not for her body. Lizzo is killing it! And more and more ppl are becoming more confident in themselves and want to show the world that, so let them?! It’s about damn time if yah ask me."
