Lizzo shared a video of her workout regimen on her TikTok page on Tuesday, June 9, along with a powerful audio message about her body. The message was directed at body-shamers, and Lizzo revealed that she has been working out consistently for five years to have the body shape she wants to have, and not what society wants her to have. She captioned the post: 'If you’re not a fat shamer, keep scrolling... ok now that all the fat shamers are here'.

In the TikTok video, the ‘Cuz I Love You’ singer, who says that she exercises for personal satisfaction, was seen shining with sweat and riding on an exercise bike while wearing a blue Nike workout suit, before cutting to the same motion in a black Nike outfit on a different day. “Hey, so I've been working out consistently for the last five years. It may come as a surprise to some of y'all but I'm not working out to have your ideal body type — I'm working out to have my ideal body type. And you know what type that is? None of your f***ing business, because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job,” Lizzo said in the audio narration recorded for the video.

The 32-year-old singer continued: “So, the next time you want to come to somebody and judge them, whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonald’s or workout or not workout, how about you look at your own f***ing self, and worry about your own Godd**n body because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside. Health is also what happens on the inside, and a lot of y'all need to do a f***ing cleanse for your insides.”

Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, is not new to giving back to trolls who try to bring her down because of her physical appearance. Recently, she called out TikTok users who were tagging her name in posts featuring “big girls” on the social media platform. She posted a short video slamming the trolls and spreading body positivity. “Every time there is a big girl on this app, I find that people always put my name in the comments. And to the people who always be putting my name in the comments, THANK YOU,” the ‘Truth Hurts’ singer said.

She continued: “Because you know what? If every time you see a big girl on this app, loving on herself and putting herself out there and being confident and loving her body, you think of me. Or you think she looks like me. B**ch, that is a what? Compliment.”

“That means I’m out here doing what I’m supposed to be doing. Letting you b**ches know that next time you try to make fun of a woman for her body, or her size, that b**ch we out here and we don’t give a f**k. We’re bad b**ches and we’re confident and we’re cover stars and, yeah, we get the motherf**kin’ views, the likes, and the motherf**kin clicks. So, thanks. And to all the big girls, I see you. Keep putting my name in the comments,” Lizzo added.
