Lizzo sizzles in denim bodysuit as she wows crowd at pre-Super Bowl bash, Harry Styles makes surprise appearance
Lizzo’s first post-Grammy concert at the Fillmore in Miami Beach was power-packed.
The 31-year-old singer who racked the 2020 Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary album, headlined the SiriusXM & Pandor Opening Drive Super Concert series in her denim lingerie encrusted with diamond straps.
Lizzo’s performance for the night began with her single ‘Worship’ which was followed by a strong message about self-love. After introducing her ‘big girls’ dance crew and her DJ Sophia, she went on to say, “Close your eyes and say ‘I love me’ because tonight’s a big love fest in here!”
“This 2020 I’m f--k boy free! In this new decade, you deserve self-love. Don’t settle for anything less,” she further added before performing ‘Jerome’.
Towards the end of the show, she used the platform to honor late Kobe Bryant, who lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26. Paying tribute to the basketball legend, Lizzo said, “I’m excited to be here for the Super Bowl but we can’t be in this event without our hearts being Kobe and his daughter Gianna. I didn’t know him personally but it just hurts because we all feel connected. We don’t know if tomorrow is promised,”
“This song is dedicated to Kobe Bryant, his family and anyone who has lost a loved one,” she said before performing ‘Good As Hell’.
The singer was also seen reflecting her soaring career as she recollected the times when she attended Super Bowl as a teenager and watched legends such as Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake perform. However, the highlight of the night was her closing performance with the Harry Styles, who graced the stage in his trademark 70s styling. The vocal powerhouses swept the crowd by their feet with their matching choreography. The audience couldn’t contain their excitement when the duo performed ‘Juice’.
