'Halt and Catch Fire' actress Lisa Sheridan found dead aged 44 in her New Orleans apartment
Actress Lisa Sheridan died in her New Orleans apartment on February 25. The 44-year-old actress is best known for her roles in numerous TV series such as 'Halt and Catch Fire', 'Invasion', 'CSI: Miami', 'The 1400', and 'The Mentalist'. Although the apparent reason for the actress' death hasn't been revealed, there are speculations that the cause of her death is suicide. However, Sheridan's family has completely denied the speculation, claiming it to be "100 percent unfounded".
Sheridan's death was confirmed by her manager, Mitch Clem, who told People that her family is devasted by her loss. Clem said, "We all loved Lisa very much and are devastated by the loss we all feel. She passed away Monday morning, at home, in her apartment in New Orleans. We are waiting for a coroners report on the cause of death.” Clem also confirmed the family's ruling out of suicide as the cause for Sheridan's death.
Sheridan's death has not only been devastating for the family but also for her fellow industry co-workers who took to social media to pay tribute to the late actress. Donna D’Errico, who worked with Sheridan in the 2015 film 'Only God Can' paid tribute to the actress on Facebook.
