Lisa Marie Presley: Frantic 911 call on night of cardiac arrest reveals Danny Keough’s bid to save singer
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: According to a 911 call, Lisa Marie Presley's housekeeper desperately tried to direct rescue personnel to the singer's estate after discovering her boss unconscious. Presley, 54, died on Thursday after being taken to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center in California. Prior to her death, it is believed that Presley's heart stopped numerous times.
An operator questioned the concerned housekeeper, who dialed 911 from Presley's Calabasas home, "What's the address of your emergency," as reported by New York Post. The housekeeper for Elvis Presley's daughter spoke slowly and sounded anxious. "Ma’am, is there someone else there with you right now?" the responder told, before asking if the staff could pass the phone to someone with her.

When the responder asked the worried worker to hand the phone to someone with her, the person who answered the phone, who was thought to be Presley's ex-husband Danny Keough, said, "Hi." The operator stated, "Sir, listen, paramedics [are] already on the way," and inquired as to whether there was anything the ambulance needed in order to reach the residence. "No, there’s a security gate in the neighborhood, but they’ll just let them through," he stated, reported NewYork Post.
The man stated to 911 responders that he believed the paramedics had arrived a short while later. Presley shared a home with Keough, who made every effort to do CPR until EMTs came. Before Presley finally passed away from the medical event, the emergency personnel attempted to revive her many times, according to Page Six. The cause of Presley's death has not been determined.
Lisa was married to musician Danny Keough on October 3, 1988. The duo was blessed with two children: a daughter, Riley Keough, and a son, Benjamin Storm Keough. Danny and Lisa got divorced in 1994. However, they still had a close-knit friendship. As MEAWW reported earlier, the couple lost their son to suicide in July 2020 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office announced following the incident.
Lisa Marie is survived by her mother Priscilla and her three daughters Riley, 33, and the twins Finley and Harper, both 14 years old. The singer will be laid to rest alongside her father and late son, Benjamin Keough, at Graceland this Sunday, January 22.
