Lio Tipton, best known for their part in 'Crazy, Stupid, Love', has revealed that they are "queer and nonbinary." The former American Idol competitor expressed gratitude to their fans for their "love and support."
The 32-year-old came out to their admirers with a doodle of robots in an Instagram post. Alongside the photo, the actress and model wrote: "Hi. My name is Lio. "My pronouns are they/them. I am proud to announce I am queer and I identify as non binary. I hope to give as much love and support back to those who continue to show love and support for the Pride community at large." They signed off the post with "Lio."

Tipton is the latest in a string of celebrities who have come out with their sexuality. In May, when Demi Lovato came out as nonbinary, Candance Ownes slammed the use of pronouns as "poor grammar". Elliot Page came out as nonbinary and transgender in 2020. With Pride Month ongoing and people celebrating each other's coming out, this was a good time for Tipton to have come out.
Who is Lio Tipton's partner?
The actress had been dating Chaz Salembier since 2019, according to Liverampup. Salembier is a creative executive of The Walt Disney Studios. He attended Saint Louis University and graduated from there with a bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and Composition.
According to Staff Me Up Salembier has worked on several top Disney projects from 2018 onwards. He has been Studio Executive for 'Christopher Robin', 'Dumbo', 'Lady and The Tramp', 'Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made', 'Artemis Fowl' and 'The One and Only Ivan'.

Tipton was earlier dating their 'Manhattan Love Story' co-star Jake McDormand. He commented on their post, saying "Proud of you Lio" alongside a red heart emoji. They were engaged to their boyfriend of six years, Aaron McMan.
