'New chapter in her life': Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan says he's thrilled with the news of his daughter's pregnancy
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's father is one happy grandpa. He revealed that he is extremely thrilled with the news of his daughter expecting her first baby.
"She's waited a while, but everything is coming at the right time. She'll make an unbelievable mom," Michael said in a conversation with Daily Mail . "It's so amazing to welcome another grandchild into the world. It's a totally new chapter in her life", he added.

The 'Mean Girl' actress shared the big news that she is expecting her first baby with husband Bader Shammas with whom she tied the knot in July 2022 on Tuesday, March 14 in an Instagram post. The singer shared a photo of a white onesie reading, 'coming soon', with the caption, "We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼". She also tagged soon-to-be father Shammas in the post.
The 36-year-old actress, who has literally grown up in the public eye, has seen her fair share of setbacks and controversies. She was also addicted to substance and was always getting in and out of rehab which eventually led to the downfall of her film career.
So, her father, Michael, is extremely thrilled that his daughter's dark past is behind her and that now she is moving into a new phase of her life filled with happiness.
Known it all along
Lindsay has been keeping her pregnancy a secret for a very long time. Whenever the actress was spotted, she was always seen wearing loose clothes to hide her growing bump. Even when she attended the Christian Siriano runway show in New York City in February, she was seen wearing loose clothing.
Lindsay's father Michael knew all about it. He said, "I've known for a while,' but could not reveal just how far along she is."
In a conversation with the Sun, Michael said that Lindsay might make an acting comeback. Michael said, "Who knows, maybe they'll come up with a role as a pregnant woman with a baby. She's doing another movie in April and has 'Mean Girls' and the 'Freaky Friday' sequels."
"You never know, she has a lot on her plate and a lot of offers out there," he added.
