'Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan has decided to return to America, the big screen, and also music.

Lohan, 33, who is presently in Muscat, Oman, did an interview with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper on New Year's Eve on Tuesday, December 31, when she revealed her relocation plans. When asked whether she has made any 2020 resolutions, she shared, "Yes, I do. I’m managing my sister, so I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I’m doing something soon in this new year."

"And, you know, just taking back the life I’ve worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys," she revealed. Lohan will reportedly be starring in 'Among The Shadows', which will hit theaters in March. This will mark her first feature film since 2013 though she has plenty of experience on the small screen.

Apart from her short-lived reality show, 'Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club', she also judges the 'Masked Singer' in Australia. Lohan was also asked about her return to music. In September, she released her first song in 11 years, an EDM track that was titled 'Xanax'. It has not been officially released.

Cohen asked Lohan about the track to which Lohan shared, "Andy, you’re getting it after the New Year." Lohan followed up her interview along with an Instagram post that read, "The future is bright! let us all give love, light and peace ♥️ 💫."

Lohan recently shared a throwback picture to a 2006 W Magazine cover that she had shot with Meryl Streep. The pair had acted together in 2006 when they starred in ' A Prairie Home Companion'. At the time, she had shared that she looked up to Streep's career and had said she would "love to be in Meryl's position."

"I want people to know me for the work that I’m doing, not for this party girl image, which is just vile and disgusting and not fair, because I work so hard. Maybe someone will look at my life one day and say, ‘Why don’t I do a cover with Lindsay Lohan?" Lohan revealed.
