Lily Allen trolled for joking about Diana memes after Prince Philip's death, Internet says her 'career is dead'
British singer and songwriter Lily Allen is getting trolled by the internet after she reacted to a Princess Diane meme with a crying-with-laughter emoji. The meme shared by the page Saint Hoax has the caption ‘Princess Diana when Philip tries to enter heaven,’ with a short clip that shows Super Nanny Jo Frost slamming the door close to a screaming toddler. Allen reportedly replied to the post stating, ‘I’m dead at the Diana one,’ followed by crying-with-laughter emoji.
Lily Allen also made a bunch of tweets afterward sharing her thoughts on the demise of Prince Phillip and the ‘No Shame’ crooner was also found to be clapping back at trolls who dragged her. She put out a tweet later which read, “lot of trolls and bots out tonight. #RIP Prince Phillip you would have loved late stage surveillance capitalism.”

Lily Allen trolled for joking about Diana memes
After Lily Allen's emoji at the Princess Diana meme involving Prince Philip, trolls came at the singer slamming her with comments like "You beg for trolls. You should understand though the difference between a troll and someone criticising you", and another says, "Perhaps a kinder response would be fitting considering an actual human has died. Perhaps that’s asking too much
your comment Ona death isn’t kind....in my humble opinion." On Lily's other status where she wrote, "oh, Prince Phillip has died.", a user commented, "Oh, your career has died," to which Allen quipped, "really, because i’m still getting paid, regularly!"

While some found Lily Allen's tweets 'disrespectful,' a few of users also commented pouring support for the singer and opining a different take. A user wrote, "There’s got to be a reason why talking about how deeply slavery is embedded in Britain’s legacy rattles so many people. Has anyone done a study? I’d read it for comedic purposes." Lily Allen replied, "because people want to believe that their families riches were earned and that their ancestors were brave and valliant, they don’t want to confront the fact that they were in-fact evil cowards." Another user urged the singer saying, "Waiting for @lilyallen to release a dis track to the government :)" to which Lily said, "honestly this government isn’t even worth my time."
