Liam Hemsworth's sister-in-law Elsa Pataky slams Miley Cyrus over pair's split: 'He deserves much better'

Liam Hemsworth's sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky, slammed his former wife Miley Cyrus and said he 'deserves much better'.
Pataky is married to Liam's brother Chris Hemsworth broke her silence on the pair's split while at a press conference in Madrid this week. As reported by Hola! magazine, Pataky shared, "My brother-in-law, well… after a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down, but he's coping well, he's a strong boy and he deserves the best".

The 43-year-old added, "I think he deserves much better". While speaking about her husband's relationship with Liam, she shared that the two are joined at the hip and Chris has always been there to give him all the strength that he needs. Pataky's comments come as a surprise given that Pataky has been close friends with 26-year-old Cyrus.
Cyrus and Pataky had even got matching tattoos as a tribute to their friendship around three years ago. The two would often spend time together in Byron Bay where the Hemsworth family owns many properties. They had even documented several girls' trips on social media and looked as they were close despite their 17-year age gap.
Cyrus and Liam had announced their split in August around eight months after the couple had got married. Very shortly after their split, Cyrus moved on to reality TV star Kaitlynn Carter but that relationship did not last much longer. Cyrus is currently seeing 22-year-old Cody Simpson.
It has been reported that Liam is now dating actress Maddison Brown, 22. According to People, a source revealed, "It’s very new. Liam is taking it slow, but he’s definitely interested in her". Earlier this month, fans and followers noticed how Cyrus and Liam made their split official and unfollowed each other across social media platforms. It is not clear when the move took place or who made the first move.
