How did Letitia Wright get injured? ‘Black Panther’ shooting halted until early 2022
The sequel to the 2018 award-winning flick ‘Black Panther’ called ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ seems to have run into a problem. The lead actress of the movie Letitia Wright sustained an injury back in August that has now led to a roadblock in film's production. Wright was roped in as the lead for the sequel after Chadwick Boseman, who played the original Black Panther, died of colon cancer in August 2020.
A few sources close to The Hollywood Reporter spilled the beans that the Marvel feature will be shutting down its production temporarily as the injuries sustained by Wright are reportedly more serious than first announced. The 28-year-old actress landed in the hospital after getting injured on the set of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ in August 2021. It was then reported that her injury will not change the filming schedule of the superhero flick but it now looks like their plans have gone for a toss.
