'Let them All Talk' is the latest Max Original starring Meryl Streep in the lead role of a novelist. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, the academy award winner's film is set and shot in Queen Mary, a cruise on which a novelist travels with her friends and her nephew in search of an experience that will help her come to terms with her past. The film is all about how a literary agent plots her way onto the same cruise as the author that she works with to be able to find out what she plans on writing. Here are the cast members of the film.

Academy award-winning actor Meryl Streep will play the role of novelist Alice Hughes in the new HBO Max original film 'Let them All Talk'. The film is centered on her and how she ends up embarking on a grand journey. The excuse is that she needs to collect an award in the UK, but instead of flying, she chooses to go on a cruise to Southampton from New York. She is also attempting to come to terms with her past, something that is holding her back and we will see if she manages to get the idea and the encouragement to begin her next book.

Gemma Chan as Karen

Actor Gemma Chan plays the role of Karen, Alice Hughes' literary agent in the film. Well known for her performance in 'Crazy Rich Asians', Chan as Karen is on a mission in 'Let Them All Talk'. Alice is someone that Karen has recently begun to work with. In fact, the manuscript that Alice is believed to be working on, on the cruise, is believed to be a sequel to her very famous first book. So not only is Karen curious about the book, but she also wants to help Alice speed her process. So she also ends up traveling on the same cruise but continues to hide from Alice alone.

Lucas Hedges as Tyler Hughes

Actor Lucas Hedges plays the role of Tyler Hughes, who happens to be Alice's nephew in 'Let them All Talk'. He is on the cruise along with his aunt and her two friends that Alice would be catching up with after a while. However, after meeting Karen, things change as Tyler is used by the agent to keep a tab on her author. Of course, in the process then it wouldn't be surprising for him to fall in love with Karen.

Other cast members of the film include Candice Bergen as Roberta, Dianne Wiest as Susan -- friends of Alice -- John Douglas Thompson, Christopher Fitzgerald as Eddie, Susan's son and Dan Algrant as Kelvin Krantz.
