Gigi Hadid meets Leonardo DiCaprio's parents for dinner amid rumors of duo's rekindled romance

The rumoured duo joined the 'Titanic' star's dad and stepmom for a fine dining experience in London

LONDON, UK: Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid were recently seen enjoying a meal together in London. They joined Leonardo's father George and stepmother for an upscale dining experience at China Tang on June 6, following a visit to Chiltern Firehouse earlier on Tuesday.

This unexpected meeting comes after rumors of a brief romance between the 48-year-old actor and the 28-year-old model did the rounds earlier in the year. However, their relationship reportedly fizzled out quickly, with Leonardo being linked to other women in the following months. However, there has been news about Leonardo and Gigi reuniting under the radar but this meeting with Leo's parents have set tongues wagging about if there could be more to their relationship since meeting the parents is quite a serious step.

Taking a step forward?

Before heading to the renowned London restaurant, Leonardo, accompanied by his father George, was spotted leaving Chiltern Firehouse. Gigi, on the other hand, arrived at the eatery alone shortly after Leonardo. After a few hours, the pair left separately. Leonardo opted for a casual look, wearing a buttoned-up black bomber jacket, black jeans, white trainers, and an all-black LA Dodgers baseball cap. He also wore a light blue face covering. His stepmother Peggy Farrar wore a down jacket, white pants, lavender and blue Hoka trainers, and a cream scarf around her neck. As Peggy observes the Sikh religion, she also wore a white turban.

Leonardo's father, George, chose black trousers, crisp white jeans, shiny black shoes, and a partially zipped black jacket. Gigi was seen wearing an all-black ensemble consisting of loose-fitting trousers, a long black coat, and circular sunglasses, all matching in color.

More than just good friends?

The rumored duo’s sighting comes after Leonardo, 48, recently embarked on a yachting vacation in Europe, specifically off the coast of Ibiza, Spain. During this getaway, he was accompanied by Meghan Roche, a 22-year-old American model who has worked with renowned luxury brands. It is worth noting that Meghan has been seen accompanying Gigi on several occasions, further fueling speculation surrounding their connections. Photographs published by TMZ captured the pair exiting the same van and boarding the actor's yacht. It appears that they were the only ones to board the vessel, doing so openly without attempting to conceal their presence.

While there are no evident displays of affection in the available images, media outlets quickly began speculating on the nature of their relationship. Leonardo has been enjoying his single status for over a year since his breakup with Camila Morrone. Despite repeated assertions that Leonardo and Gigi are merely good friends, rumors of a potential romantic involvement between them have persisted in recent weeks.
