Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid spotted together partying in the Hamptons amid dating rumors

An inside source had previously stated that the two tried dating but there were no sparks between the two

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NEW YORK: Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid are stoking relationship speculations after allegedly enjoying a weekend of partying together in The Hamptons. The 'Titanic' actor, 48, and the model, 28, were reportedly in a good mood at tech mogul David Rosenberg's party in Bridgehampton, despite sources claiming that the two had previously attempted "dating" but that the chemistry "just wasn't there." 

"Leo and Gigi were talking to each other. She seemed thrilled. Everyone thought they were together [as a couple]," an insider said to Page Six. There was no PD , the insider continued, but  "the way they were talking to each other … You could feel the energy," adding that they had a "vibe." 

According to reports, Hadid attended the party earlier to honor her pal Leah McCarthy on her birthday. DiCaprio, meanwhile, showed up after midnight and stayed out till two in the morning with Hadid and his buddies. In addition to a 30-minute fireworks display, partygoers listened to music provided by DJ Jusske. Cuba Gooding Jr, Gayle King, and Winnie Harlow were also there.

Are Leo and Gigi serious about each other?

Leonardo has been romantically linked to Gigi since the two were caught in a cozy moment at an NYC nightclub in September 2022. The 'The Departed' actor and the runway phenomenon were then seen dining with his parents last month. Although the two "did try dating some time ago," a source recently told Daily Mail, they realized they were better off as friends after finding there were no feelings of romance between them.

Even though the purported couple has been seen together quite a few times, the reality that most of their encounters have taken place in social situations paints a different picture. There have been very few occasions where the two have really met in private. There have been rumors that Gigi Hadid may not be very eager to begin a relationship with Leo despite their casual familiarity. People magazine reported that Gigi is now casually dating and that she often meets up with Leo.

The reports of the two being pictured together majorly in public and information given by inside sources suggest that their relationship hasn't been significant in the past and isn't likely to be in the future. When asked about his recent outings with his parents, the source rebuffed the notion that dining out together indicates anything beyond a friendship between the two. "It is just ridiculous that a man and a woman cannot be friends without everyone insisting there is more to it," they stated. If DiCaprio and Hadid start dating, it will be their first serious relationship since he divorced Camila Morrone in 2022 and she left her child's father, Zayn Malik, in 2021. If things are truly going that way, Hollywood might have a hot new couple.
