'Kings of Queens' and 'Modern Family' star Norma Michaels dies at 95
Legendary actor, Norma Micheals passed away from natural causes, aged 95. As reported by Deadline, the actor shot to prominence for playing Josephine opposite Jerry Stiller on the CBS hit drama series, 'King of Queen'. In addition, she also had a comprehensive film and TV career. Her last feature film role was in the hit 2016 film, 'Hello My Name is Doris'. The television projects include roles in sitcoms like 'Modern Family', '2 Broke Girls', 'Playing House', 'The George Gobel Show' and 'The Jack Benny Show'.
Michaels' last TV appearance was 'Brooklyn 99'. As reported by Comicbook, she was born and raised in Los Angeles and had a rich career as a character actor appearing in many films and television shows for six decades. Michaels began her TV in 1954 on 'The George Gobel Show', going on to appear in minor roles throughout the 60s and 70s. She took a break in the 80s to become a counselor and later returned in the latter part of the year with a guest role in 'Highway to Heaven'.
