YIKES! Laurence Fishburne makes viewers cringe with joke on ex-adult film star daughter on ‘The View’
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: When Joy Behar questioned actor Laurence Fishburne whether any of his kids intended to follow in his footsteps as actors, she may not have been aware of the can of worms she had just opened. The two had an uneasy conversation when the 61-year-old 'The Matrix' actor made a sly allusion to his renowned ex-adult film star daughter, Montana Fishburne.
On February 8, Fishburne appeared on 'The View' to promote his upcoming Disney+ animated series, Marvel's 'Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur'. The show centers around a young heroine of color whose superpowers include her intellect and knowledge, but discussions about the movie took a detour when Behar pryingly inquired about his personal life.

Fishburne has two children with his first wife, Hajna O. Moss — Montana, 31, and Langston, 34. Fishburne and his second wife, Gina Torres, have a daughter together, Delilah, 15. When talking about the animated series, which debuts on February 15, the actor admitted that his daughter Delilah had been a big assistance. He asked for her expertise in order to get some perspective from the younger generation, as per RadarOnline.com.
"Is she interested in this sort of work?" Sara Haines, the co-anchor of 'The View', questioned Fishburne, who then began to gush about his youngest child. "Yeah, she's very interested in the theater," he responded, revealing that Delilah is participating in theater and singing in a gospel choir at her school. "I may have one of my children may actually be in the business," Fishburne stated, which led to Behar asking a natural follow-up question. "Any others?" she asked, to which Fishburne cut her off by joking, "Not so much."

Behar ignored the remark despite his embarrassed appearance, patting the 'All the Old Knives' actor and telling him that everything will be fine. "Sometimes it's hard to follow in your footsteps," she said, causing another uncomfortable response from Fishburne. "Yeah, that's what I heard. I've heard there's like a shadow thing," he replied, changing the subject to the experience of being a child actor on the soap opera 'One Life To Live.'
Fishburne's oldest daughter, Montana Fishburne, was an adult film star who was notably detained in 2017 after urinating on the shoulder of the interstate while police removed the debris from a car crash she caused. In addition to DUI, Montana was also charged with DUI with property damage, and DUI with a blood alcohol level over .15.
