Lana Del Rey is reportedly no longer single as she is apparently dating the ex-lover of Courtney Love. The new man in Lana Del Rey’s life has been identified as singer and actor Jack Donoghue. The 36-year-old crooner was most recently papped at the 33rd birthday of Jack Donoghue in East Los Angeles which got all the tongues wagging.
According to the Daily Mail, the award-winning songstress is dating the hunky and tattooed Jack Donoghue. Jack Donoghue was in news earlier for his relationship with Courtney Love. Lana Del Rey has, so far, not commented on her relationship status and even Jack has stayed mum on socials. MEAWW will keep you posted. According to sources, “She seems excited to be hanging with him. Jack could be the perfect guy for her. He's really creative. They should collab[orate] on music as well.”

Jack Donoghue is an actor and singer who is mainly known for his rock band Salem. He is apparently also part of a band called Young Cream but it is with Salem that Jack has dropped the majority of his music. According to the Daily Mail, Lana and Jack seem to be hitting off well and she even played her songs at his birthday party. Jack Donoghue was born in Chicago.
Jack and his bandmate John Holland- who is reportedly a self-described former prostitute boasted about their extensive drug use in previous interviews, titled one of their songs 'Yes I Smoke Crack'. One of Jack Donoghue’s acquaintances, who asked to remain anonymous, spilled the beans to the publication that Jack and Lana make a wholesome couple.
“They seem really into each other. I mean, she's made pretty clear in her music she likes bad boys with tattoos, Jack is that to the Nth level”, said the friend, adding, “Jack is all dark and edgy and seems anti-everything but underneath all that he's actually a good-looking guy, an all-American hunk. He's kind of like this troubled, hot guy, someone who maybe played football in high school but then dropped out to chase his demons.” The friend concluded, “They're like this unexpected power couple of dark, twisted Americana.”

The rock band Salem which Jack Donoghue is a part is considered the pioneer of the witch house genre. The music of Salem was earlier controversially dubbed 'rape-gaze'. Salem had also released an EP titled 'Yes I Smoke Crack'. The band was originally founded in 2008. Their music videos have featured guns in backwoods wastelands, sleeping in broke down motels, and a naked dancing model they hired from Craigslist.
The term ‘rape gaze’ was reportedly coined by DJ Lauren Flax, who along with Lauren Dillard plays music in the frequently-tagged-as-witch house. In an interview with Village Voice, DJ Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard from the duo Creep confessed that they coined the term ‘rape gaze’ saying, “Yeah, but it’s basically a joke. I mean, when we started being called a witch-house band, it’s kind of, you know, it’s a hilarious term to us, “witch house.” It’s almost as ridiculous to be called “rape gaze,” so we put it out there.”
When asked about the origins, they said, “It’s funny because in Creep, we make a lot of dark music, a lot of serious music, but really the heart of Lauren and I–our humor takes over for the most part. And that’s kind of where it came from. Because we take a lot of pictures and we look super serious and we kind of call that our “rape gaze.” Some people might call it “bedroom eyes,” but no–we call it rape gaze.” They added, “It can be taken very offensively, because rape is not a light subject. I don’t know, maybe we’re out of line with it, but either way, we don’t take it very seriously. It’s kind of funny what people pick out.”
