'Self-confessed' sex addict Lamar Odom is abstaining from sex before marriage, says new fiancé Sabrina Parr
In his memoir 'Darkness to Light', Lamar Odom had revealed that he is a "sex addict" and has slept with more than 2,000 women over the years.
Odom seems to have now changed his ways as his new fiancé Sabrina Parr admitted that they were abstaining from sex before marriage.
According to a report by Hollywood Life, the 32-year-old fitness coach shared that it had been Odom's decision to wait until the couple had become husband and wife officially.
Sabrina shared, "This is the first time in Lamar's entire life that he has been clean of drugs, marijuana, porn addiction and sex addiction. He and I don't even have sex, believe that or not."
She also explained how once Odom "got saved" through the church and developed a relationship with the pastor, there were several issues he wanted to improve on.
One of these issues was a "great sacrifice to God" by abstaining from sex. "I wasn't going to force him either way because it’s his own relationship with God… He's very new in being saved, so I didn't want him to develop opinions based on what I am doing or not doing," she shared.
Sabrina had also revealed that it was totally up to the former basketball player to take a call on how they wanted to go ahead with their relationship.
"I allowed him to make a decision. But I said, 'Whatever decision you make, let me know'. And he really made the decision to not have sex with me until we get married, which is kind of why he wants to rush the marriage. But I'm just in no rush. So, he's doing very well with it, surprisingly."
Earlier this year, Odom had revealed in his memoir that addiction and cheating had played a major role in the destruction of his marriage to Khloe Kardashian. During their divorce, Odom was hospitalized after having an accidental overdose at a brothel outside Las Vegas in 2015.
