Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer bears a striking resemblance to her flawless aunt
If you tuned into the latest royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, you couldn't have possibly missed the gorgeous Lady Kitty Spencer. She was the one person who stole the show, apart from Princess Charlotte and Prince George, of course. The tall, porcelain-skinned niece of the late Princess of Wales, Lady Diana. She stole hearts as she walked into Windsor Castle in a D&G dark green dress and a matching fascinator, bearing striking resemblance to her equally beautiful late aunt, the flawless Diana.
Kitty Eleanor Spencer is the daughter of Diana's younger sibling Charles Spencer and model Victoria Aitken. So, she's not exactly a direct royal. Thus, unlike her cousins Prince William and Prince Harry, she is not in line for the throne. But that doesn't make her any less famous.
The 27-year-old is a December born Capricorn which makes her super driven and ambitious, uber confident and extremely hardworking. Unsurprisingly, she is all of them. Spencer's modeling career seems to have taken off. She has walked the runway for one of the biggest names in fashion, Dolce & Gabbana for their Milan 'Secrets & Diamonds' fashion show. This wasn't her debut at D&G though, she's done this before.
The collection features a lot of tiaras and diamonds, so as expected Kitty rocked the looks. She wore a sky blue gown printed with baby angels, cinched at the waist with a darker blue obi belt.
In another look, she wore a sequinned silver maxi dress and matching jewelry. She's also the face of their Spring/Summer 2018 campaign, where she dons a more playful look to go with the collection.
She's also been named the face of luxury brand Bvalgari, which proves that all the speculations are true, Kitty has the same great fashion savviness as her late aunt. If you didn't know this already, Diana was the one who gave birth to the idea of a revenge dress. With looks like Diana and genes of a fashion model, she fits right in.
With this deal, she joins the likes of Victoria Secret model Lily Aldridge and Bella Hadid, who have been the faces of the brand. She announced the news on her Instagram, where she has more than 375k followers. Her Instagram is also dotted with drool-worthy travel pictures where Kitty is holidaying on a yacht, enjoying the sunset or just soaking up the warm sun in lush green terrains.
She wrote, "It is an immense honor to be working with the most iconic Italian jewelry brand in the world. Bvlgari has always been synonymous with creativity, heritage, beauty, and glamour. I am, therefore, very excited to be part of the Bulgari family, as it means experiencing their passion and magic firsthand." She posted a couple of shots from the campaign looking ethereal in their jewelry.
She is represented by the same people who manage the hottest faces of today like supermodel Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford as well as models like Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn - Storm Management.
Kitty is the eldest of Charles Spencer's six kids and the second niece of Princess Diana. She has twin sisters, Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer, a younger brother, Louis Spencer, and three half-siblings, Lady Lara Spencer, Lady Charlotte Diana Spencer, and Edmund Charles Spencer.
After her parents divorced in 1997, her father went back to England to look after the family estate Althorp, while Spencer stayed with her mother in South Africa. She's private school educated and went to Reddam House, a private school in Cape Town. She pursued college in South Africa. In an interview last year, she said she didn't think she missed out on anything. "I've never had to sacrifice one or the other because my mother's in South Africa and my father's [in London], so I've always gone between the two," she told IBT UK.
A true beauty with brains, she has a degree in psychology, politics, and English literature at the University of Cape Town. She went on to do her masters in luxury brand management from the European business school at Regent's University London.
Although she's been away from the media spotlight when she was young, from the time this doe-eyed beauty made her first public appearance in 2007, she's shot to fame ever since. She was attending the memorial service organized in the memory of her aunt.
After the shutterbugs saw how great she looked on camera, Tatler, a British magazine picked up this fresh face to be on their cover multiple times. They also named her the most desirable bachelorette in 2014. Kitty has also graced the cover of Vogue Japan. She was also recently featured in Vogue Brazil.
Kitty is just as philanthropic as the rest of her royal cousins. In 2016, she became the ambassador for Centrepoint, a charitable organization that works for the cause of the homeless on the streets of the UK. Prince William is also a part of this charity and so was his mum and her aunt, Princess Diana. She's also the ambassador of Give Us Time, another charity that works with the welfare of families of the military.
When Kitty isn't busy doing charity, getting the biggest brands to cast her as their face or modeling, she likes to be at the place where all the action happens, front row at fashion shows. She's seen chilling at shows like Dior, Schiaparelli, and, Dolce & Gabbana with her famous friends like Ellie Goulding.
