LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lady Gaga's former collaborator Justin Tranter accused her of not caring about the LGBTQ community. This comes after the 37-year-old singer failed to post anything related to Pride month despite her vocal support for the community.

The 'Bloody Mary' singer has promoted her makeup line this month and even shared a sponsored post about the migraine medication Nurtec. Gaga has previously acknowledged Pride by dressing up and striding on the streets of her hometown.

'She never cared about LGBTQ people'

In a series of now-deleted comments, Tranter, who worked with Gaga on her song '911', criticized the singer for her Nurtec ad. "She never cared about LGBTQ people. Ever. We were always pawns in her game. She called herself the Fame Monster," he wrote, according to The Sun. "When people tell you who they are believe them. Is this funding the Born This Way Foundation?"

Lady Gaga's support for the LGBTQ community

In her first cover story in 2009 for Out magazine, the popular singer openly shared her support for LGBTQ people. “I very much want to inject gay culture into the mainstream. It’s not an underground tool for me. It’s my whole life," she said. "So I always sort of joke the real motivation is to just turn the world gay.”

Gaga has also spoken about her sexuality openly, disclosing that she is attracted to both men and women. The 'Poker Face' singer has attended several marches to support the LGBTQ community. Gaga, who was 23 in 2009, protested in the National Equality March against the restrictions for LGBTQ people to serve openly in the military.

She visited the LGBTQ homeless youth at New York’s Ali Forney Center over the holidays in 2016. She has also performed at many concerts during Pride Month over the years.

'Does no one in the community get migraines?'

Reddit users reacted to Justin Tranter's comments on Lady Gaga. One said, "Gaga IS an LGBTQ person. I have no idea what migraine medication has do to with this accusation." Another commented, "Imagine being this upset cause a human hasnt wished you happy pride yet." One echoed, "I just hate when people fall out and they start being messy. If she was never an ally why did you ride her tail for over a decade?" "It took me 5 minutes to realize there's nothing homophobic about this migraine medication," said one while another wrote, "Does no one in the community get migraines? Having to listen to meatball ron gives me one on the daily."
