'AIRE': Social media reacts to Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's baby boy's new name
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have finally revealed the name of their son on social media. In her Instagram post on Saturday, January 21, the reality star for the very first time shared the full picture of her baby, where followers can see the complete face. Jenner shared multiple snaps, and captioned them, “AIRE.” In one of these photographs, the mother-son duo was seen taking a mirror selfie, and another one captures the infant sitting in his high chair with food smeared all over his mouth and his bib.
Scott, 31, and Jenner, 25, originally called their son Wolf Jacques Webster, but she later shared that they will be changing the moniker. She wrote in an Instagram story earlier, “FYI OUR SONS NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE. WE JUST REALLY DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM.” The businesswoman added, “JUST WANTED TO SHARE BECAUSE I KEEP SEEING WOLF EVERYWHERE.” A closed source had earlier told People, "Kylie and Travis liked Wolf, but after getting to know their son, they felt like the name didn't fit him. They wanted to choose the perfect name that they both loved."

Jenner had been updating her fans on her pregnancy journey through her social media posts, and even shared a dedicated video on YouTube reflecting her entire journey, captioning, “To Our Son.” She is seen recording herself while sitting in the hospital bed, cradling her baby bump as she prepared to welcome her child. The video goes on capturing audio, the moment the baby comes out. "He's out," one of the doctors is heard saying. "Your son is here!" "What's up boy! What's up big boy," Scott can be heard shouting excitedly before the newborn is heard crying. "To our son. February, 2, 2022. 8lbs 13oz," the video reads at the end on a title card. according to PageSix.
Social media also reacted to the name, Aire, where one tweeted, “Ah, she was inspired by the weather channel when naming her kids.” The second one was a bit confused, “Kylie’s baby is so cute but do we pronounce his name as “Air”??? Or “Ari”???? Or something else????” Another wrote, “why did she let the internet bully her into changing his name from wolf cause that was a nice name.” “There needs to be a celebrity give your kid a name they won't get made of for challenge, tweeted another. One believes the name may not be best for Arabic speaking people, “It sounds so wrong in arabic 😭”
