Kylie Jenner slammed for ‘gifting’ 1-year-old daughter Stormi a diamond ring for Christmas
Kylie Jenner is receiving criticism for seemingly gifting her one-year-old daughter Stormi a diamond ring this Christmas. The reality TV star took to Instagram on Wednesday to boast that her toddler has had "the best Christmas of all time" after she received an expensive piece of jewelry and a pony.
Kylie shared a short clip of Stormi's little hand flashing a ring with two diamonds on the band in an Instagram story on Christmas Day evening. The 22-year-old then shared a picture of a white pony, named Olaf from Frozen, in stables. The cosmetics mogul captioned the picture with: "OK but Stormi had the best Christmas of all time."
A few hours later, both the Instagram story and the post disappeared from her account. It is not known who gifted Stormi with the presents, however, it is possible that the child was wearing one of her mother's rings. Kylie, nonetheless, received backlash for permitting her daughter to wear such expensive and delicate jewelry as some pointed out the dangers.
One Instagram user wrote: "Nah she too small that’s dangerous!" While a Twitter user also weighed in, saying: "I’m sorry but it is so f*****g ridiculous that Kylie got stormi, a two-year-old, a DIAMOND RING for Christmas. I know people work for their money, but that money could have gone to putting food in someone’s body, paying for medical bills, or planting trees. ‘#Stormi got a diamond ring and a big house for #Christmas. She’s (almost) 2. Let that sink in."
While another critic wrote: "What exactly is she going to do with that!?" One added: "‘Imagine being kylie jenner and getting Hermès purses and diamond bracelets or being stormi webster and getting a litte pony."
"At this point, ima need Stormi to adopt me," one user joked. Stormi, earlier this week, was also gifted a huge playhouse from her grandmother Kris Jenner.
