'Offensive': Kylie Jenner slammed for 2015 'disability photoshoot' in wheelchair
Kylie Jenner was slammed for a resurfaced photo from 2015, as she was accused of "faking a disability" by posing in a wheelchair. The throwback photo was posted on social media by a disability blogger.
In the photo, the lip kit mogul is seen sitting in a wheelchair wearing a shiny leather bodysuit along with a choker around her neck and buckles wrapped around her ankles. Her short jet black hair framed her face and she had a face full of makeup as Kylie gazed out into the distance, gripping the wheels of the chair. The picture was part of the magazine publication Interview to highlight the reality star's "surreal life" as a result of her fame.

A vlogger and activist for people with disabilities reposted the cover on Twitter, refueling fans anger over the controversial photo. They wrote: "It’s a good day to remember that Kylie Jenner, Instagram’s 3rd most followed person, did this cover 6 years ago to represent the “disability” caused by her fame. Atrocious. But it didn’t mark her career because disability only serves for a temporary discomfort."

'Ridiculously tone-deaf and offensive'
"Such a rough life she has. Ever check out this young billionaire’s philanthropy portfolio & ratio?" one of them said, while another noted, "Who is the art director for the shoot????" A third commented, "Oh... I've never seen this. Awful." One more added, "All this does is make me sob. Her life is so hard … she didn’t loose (sic) her ability to walk. She doesn’t know the struggles of trying to afford proper medical equipment let alone, the level of disrespect. I’m disgusted." Another quipped, "The most dumbest photo shoot ever." The next remarked, "I'm still mad they ain't whoop her ass for this cover. I mean these celebrities absolutely have no scruples."
One of them pointed out, "This was right before all the blackfishing. What even is the real Kylie?" A commenter tweeted, "I thought she was pretending to be a sex doll all these years….this is worse." One more noted, "Ridiculously tone deaf and offensive." A person reacted with, "God i wish we could stop making stupid people famous..." One more said, "That art director totally failed, IMO. I don’t know dick about Jenner, but it could have been a shoot where she’s bound by diamond-encrusted barbed wire, or drowning in a sea of lit up smartphones, etc. instead we’ve got an insulting fetish shoot. Not very good optics at all."
Such a rough life she has. 🙄🙄🙄

However, not everyone saw Kylie's photoshoot in a negative light. "Why is everyone mad? It’s meant to be art not to mock anyone she’s not the only artist to do it," one of them said, while another commented, "Naw that was 6 years ago. We’re moving forward to 2022." A third wrote, "Name one single thing you social media people aren't offended by? Can't wear braids, buns, tan skin, pseudo bondage art, be too thin or fat, gift a school bus for your kids bday, leave your home when you should be in mourning. Anything??"
