Kylie Jenner could not even sit in her beaded Oscars gown because it was so tight: 'But it was worth it'
Make-up mogul Kylie Jenner, known for pulling out all stops for a red carpet appearance, did not disappoint as she headed to Vanity Fair's Oscars after-party in a waist-cinching Ralph & Russo gunmetal gown in Beverley Hills Sunday. The 22-year-old, however, made a revelation about her dress to her fans while she was on her way to the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts. Kylie said her dress was so tight she could not sit down wearing it.
Kylie's curves were amplified in the glittering designer gown with two stiff curves of tulle framing her hips and chest. The strapless gunmetal gown exaggerated her hourglass figure. Although the reality TV star stole the show as she arrived with her sister Kim Kardashian, she acknowledged on Instagram that her stunning dress was not very practical.
Kylie took to the photo-sharing website to write a post, saying: "Couldn’t really sit in this but it was worth it." The post included a photo of her being driven to the party, where she kept her body rigid and hovering above her seat.
The youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters was later spotted in a strapless red floor-length couture by Vivienne Westwood with a thigh-high slit. She took to Instagram to show her dress as she paired it with a diamond necklace.
Kylie and Kim later caught up with family friend Nicky Hilton, who wore a dazzling pleated silver gown. The party was also attended by A-listers, including Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore and Mindy Kaling.
The 92nd Academy Awards noted a historic moment as the South Korean film 'Parasite' bagged multiple awards, including for Best Picture, becoming the first foreign film to do so. Other top winners of the Oscars included Renee Zellweger, Joaquin Phoenix, Laura Dern and Brad Pitt.
Zellweger and Phoenix won Best Actress and Actor respectively, and Laura Dern and Brad Pitt earned Best Supporting Actress and Actor. 'Parasite', directed by Bong Joon-ho, bagged four awards.
