James Charles attends Kylie Jenner's skincare launch after feud with Tati Westbrook comes to an end
Kylie Jenner seems to be welcoming James Charles back to the beauty scene after the YouTube war between him and Tati Westbrook shook the Internet recently. The vlogger also made sure everyone knew about this meeting since he took to social media to upload photos and videos with the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
The lipstick mogul invited Charles to the Kylie Skin launch that took place on Tuesday night, just 10 days after she reportedly unfollowed the make-up artist on Instagram, a supposed after effect of a YouTube video from Charles' angry mentor. So Charles made sure that fans knew he was all pals with the Kardashian clan as not only was he spotted in the background of Jenner’s Instagram Story from the event, he also posted photos and videos on his own account. They included pictures of him roller skating, images of the new Kylie Skin products, a video of Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney posing for pictures, and even a selfie with matriarch Kris Jenner.
Despite the rumored reports of Jenner disapproving him, Charles claims he and the KUWTK star are 'sisters' in his recent post on Instagram. He also claims that she didn't unfollow him on social media during his public argument with Westbrook which came to an end on Sunday night.
Confused about his claims, a fan commented on his post with Kylie saying, "But she unfollowed you lol." To which Charles hit back saying, "She never followed in the first place, lol, stop believing everything." And even though they seemed pretty close in Charles' post, Jenner still doesn't follow Charles or Westbrook.
Not only that, the video Charles uploaded on his Instagram story from Jenner's event seemed to be like he was throwing shade at Westbrook and her claims considering the lyrics that were playing in the background were as follows, "You started to say sorry, but f**k that shit/ You started out hating, but you love my drip.”
The tiff between Charles and Westbrook created ripples in the beauty blogging world around two weeks ago when Westbrook uploaded a video accusing Charles of lying and manipulating people about a brand deal.
Following Westbrook's video, many people joined in sharing their own negative feedback about Charles including Jeffree Star and Zara Larson. This feud caused major damage to Charles' business as he lost a million subscribers in 24 hours.
