'I birthed a baby': Kylie Jenner shuts down troll for calling her 'skinny' in throwback picture from 2017
Kylie Jenner shut down online trolls with her sass after some tried to shame her post-baby body after she shared a new throwback picture. Trolls have reportedly said she looked better earlier.
As per reports, a fan account of the 22-year-old shared a picture of her from 2017 while she made a red carpet appearance for the grand opening of the Sugar Factory store in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the old snapshot, she can be seen rocking her signature brunette tresses and figure-hugging clothes and looking visibly slimmer than now.
Seeing the older picture of the ‘Life of Kylie’ star, one user commented, “wow she's so skinny here”, while another one wrote her body was “way better here”. However, these comments did not go down well with Jenner as she fired back and said, “I birthed a baby.”
Many users also agreed with the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star and urged people to stop comparing Kylie and her past self. Comments By Celebs managed to capture a screenshot of the exchange, Yahoo reported.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder gave birth to Stormi Webster in February 2018 with rapper Travis Scott. While she was pregnant with her first, she kept it secret for the entire nine months, only stepping out of the home for rare trips and other low-key outings. Only after delivering her daughter who is now two-year-old, she released a video and also apologized to her fans for keeping them in the dark.
“I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness,” the world's youngest billionaire said at the time.
After a few months of delivering Scott’s daughter, she also got candid in a YouTube video, where she talked about her post-baby body. She also admitted that even though she “bounced back super fast” after giving birth, she still struggled with insecurities about her appearance.
“My boobs are definitely three times the size, which bothers me. I have stretch marks on my boobs. My stomach isn't the same, my waist isn't the same, my butt's bigger, my thighs [are] bigger,” Kylie had said.
She added, “And honestly, I'm finding I have to change my style a little because nothing in my closet fits me from before.” In the same video, she also revealed that though watching her body “go through such a change” at her age was “physically, mentally, and emotionally a challenge,” she explained that it was “also a beautiful thing.”
“It was such a great pregnancy and birth. And I’m so happy. I would have done the same thing over again,” she had shared.
