Kylie Jenner shows off extra-long 'snake braid' ponytail, gets trolled: 'Truly is the year of the rat'
Reality TV star Kylie Jenner took to social media to debut a new hairstyle over the weekend.
The 22-year-old shared a picture of herself sitting on a diving board on Instagram. The picture featured a super-long braid cascading down her back and flowing out onto the pool deck. Kylie's unusual look and hairstyle left her followers divided with many not sure if they like the look or not.
One user commented, "Truly is the year of the rat," while another added, "You got a tail?" A social media user chimed in, "her hair looks like the hair you pull up from ur shower drain when u clean it." Another commented, "so she just gone act like you ain’t killem with the snake braid first."
Kylie's older step-sister, Khloe Kardashian also commented on the picture and said, "Don't ever call me extra again." A few followers, however, loved the look and took to the comments section to express their approval. "OMGGGAWWDDDDD (crying emojis) HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO BEAUTIFUL," wrote one user.
The mother-of-one was also seen sporting her baby daddy Travis Scott's unreleased Cactus Jack Nike SB Dunk Lows. Recently, Jenner hinted that the two had gotten back together after she shared photographs of herself wearing his unreleased sneakers on board a private jet.
She also shared some pictures of the two from 2017 with the message "it's a mood".
The couple shares two-year-old daughter Stormi together and fueled rumors that they were back together after being seen along with their toddler on Saturday, February 29.
Kylie is not the only one debuting a new hairdo. Another of her older step-sisters, Kim Kardashian, also sported a dramatically long ponytail. She was seen stepping out during Paris Fashion Week and showed off her very dramatic mid-thigh length ponytail extensions.
The look had been created by celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton who had also accessorized her ponytail with a piece of fabric that perfectly matched the outfit she had on.
