Kylie Jenner hires $250 million superyacht with its own helipad, swimming pool and beach club to ring in 22nd birthday
Get set to be blown away by Kylie Jenner's plans for an extravagant 22nd birthday bash this August 10. The reality TV star has reportedly hired a $250 million superyacht to ring in her special day with the Kardashian clan and her close friends. With room for 22 guests including a master suite and three VIP staterooms, the 300-feet vessel has a spa, a beauty salon, a cinema, a gym, a deck-pool, an outdoor bar, its own helipad and is serviced by a 29-strong crew.
Renamed Tranquility from Equanimity, the ship once belonged to fugitive Malaysian banker Low Taek Jho. However, later it was sold to recoup some of the £3 billion he is accused of defrauding from the Malaysian government.
According to TMZ, the beauty mogul seems to have spent a fortune — as it costs around $1.2 million per week -- to hire the boat for her birthday. With a range of 5,000 nautical miles and a maximum speed of 20 knots in the Tranquility, guests are in the lap of luxury as they cruise around the Mediterranean.
The interiors of the yacht have been designed by Winch Design and the exterior styling is by Oceanco and it includes a 29-person crew waiting on the guests at every beck and call. There's no doubt that the yacht leaves plenty of space for each guest for sunbathing and partying.
Well, that's not all. Kylie, has reportedly, asked for more attractions to the yacht, including a large ball pit, personalised party favours, a photo booth and even a family mural dedicated to the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan and their friends. Her party includes a star-studded guest list—with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Winnie Harlow. Reportedly, the guests will be given return gifts packed with personalised denim jackets. Kylie's sisters Kendall and Kourtney are also reported to attend the party.
The reality star collaborated with sister Kim for her fragrance collection and was recently named the youngest self-made billionaire ever by Forbes magazine with her beauty empire Kylie Cosmetics estimated to be worth $900 million. Kylie's 22nd birthday bash is certainly one notch higher from her 21st blowout pink-themed bash, held inside West Hollywood hot spot Delilah.
