Kyle Richards states she will never torture her children by faking marital issues for 'dumb TV show'
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Kyle Richards has denied that she is faking her marital problems with Mauricio Umansky for publicity and ratings.
'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star, who publicly disclosed her separation from her husband of 27 years in July, dismissed the rumors as "one of the most absurd things I've possibly ever encountered in these 13 years."

During an interview on Bravo's 'Hot Mic' podcast on Tuesday, Kyle expressed disbelief, stating, "What kind of person would fabricate a story like this?"
"I’m going to pretend that I’m separated and torture my children so that people tune in? I mean, it’s just the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”
"And when people talk about, ‘oh, they do these things to be relevant’… I mean, I’ve already been on the show for13 years,” she told host and RHOBH producer Alex Baskin.

Kyle also spoke out about the rumors suggesting that she and Mauricio have an "open marriage" and insinuations that her relationship with him is solely motivated by financial considerations.
She clarified that Mauricio had "no money" when they got married, emphasizing that she wouldn't endure such rumors just to continue spending "our money that he didn't have before."
She said, “I also hear a lot of things online like ‘well, Kyle and Maurice have an open marriage’ and that ‘Kyle’s only with him for the money’… He had no money when I married him, you idiots!,”
Kyle exclaimed. “First of all, it’s our money that he didn’t have before. But yeah, definitely not, I would not do any of that.”

Kyle also said that she is not interested in being “relevant” to anyone but her friends and family.
She said, “I don’t care about being relevant to my friends and family. Yes, I’m on television, but I’m good. I’m not looking to be more relevant.
"I’m good. And I would never put my family through this ever for a dumb TV show, sorry… for a dumb f***ing TV show,” she said as reported by Daily Mail
