Guess who is guiding Kanye West & Travis Scott 's music careers: Momager Kris Jenner
Momager of six already, Kris Jenner has her plate full but clearly not full enough. It is believed that she will be guiding the careers of two of the world's hottest rap stars, Kanye West and Travis Scott.
Being their mother-in-law and successful manager of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, West and Scott may be turning to supermom Kris for guidance.
As reported by PageSix, Kris is very much for her son-in-law West parting ways with his longtime manager Izvor 'Izzy' Zivkovic and Travis leaving his own management team.
"They’ve been off and on for years. But Kris is in [West’s] ears. Kanye’s been making changes and [he and Zivkovic] have grown apart — but Kris definitely gives her opinion and Kanye’s all ears. She’s about brand building and is gangster at it. She also told Travis Scott [father of Kris’ new granddaughter, Stormi, with Kylie Jenner] to fire Mark Gillespie. They are 100 percent part of that Kardashian-Jenner brand," a source shared.
It is reported that Scott left Gillespie’s Three Six Zero management last month. This was just weeks before West parted ways with Zivkovic. The rappers have been collaborating to deliver a smash hit and have also been spotted recording together in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Kris Jenner is one of the most successful managers or momager as she calls it of this era.
As reported by TMZ, the 62-year-old made sure that she was the only one who was allowed to use the word momager. Kris had initially applied for the trademark term in the year 2015 but was blocked by the trademark office who claimed that the name was too similar to an already existing trademark that someone had made for the term 'momanger'.
The dispute between the 'momanger' people and Kris was settled in November in the year 2017 after a two-year-long battle. Kris has been able to safely trademark the term 'momager' and lives up to the title 100%.
