Fans suspect Kris Jenner leaked Kanye and Taylor Swift's tape to put her family back in spotlight during pandemic
Kanye West and Taylor Swift's war has been going on for years now. It began in 2016 after he released his song that labeled the latter a 'b***h' and claimed to have made her famous. A while ago, their full 2016 call was recently leaked on social media. Released via two tweets, the call records West rapping the controversial lyrics of 'Famous' to Swift but omitting out the whole truth.
However, he leaves out the second part — just like Swift previously claimed. During the call, Swift also stated she is uncomfortable participating in the promotions for the song. Moreover, Swift can be heard saying, "That's not mean," after West raps the lyrics. He covers it up by saying she has "an army" of fans and that's why he wants her to approve the lyrics. Swift responds, "I need to think about it...because it is absolutely crazy. I'm glad it's not mean though," adding, "the build-up you gave it I thought it was gonna be like 'that stupid dumb b***h', but it's not."
After the song 'Famous' released in April 2016, its lyrics were called out for being misogynistic, especially, "For all my Southside (expletive) that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous (God damn) / I made that b***h famous."
Now, after the full conversation is out, social media has gone crazy with accusations over who leaked it. Kanye West's mother-in-law Kris Jenner, 64, is the number one suspect. "Once again, the devil works hard but Kris Jenner works harder. Bad press is good press even corona can’t compete," one user said and another posted, "All of this drama is the work of the true GOAT @KrisJenner... #TaylorSwift. Did get way more famous after Kanye pulled his dumb move onstage and #KanyeWest also lost his mind... they are both still making millions so if #KanyeWestIsOverParty is trending, it's part of the plan."
Social media users are saying that Kris did it just to gain some attention as the coronavirus pandemic seems to be trending the most, leaving the Kardashian clan out of the limelight. "#KanyeWestIsOverParty did you know Kris Jenner’s second husband is a transgender woman? Ahhahahahahha so funny! And if Kris Jenner is not successful, their daughter is not famous until today! And Kanye West and Kim Kardashian owes Taylor swift an apology! @KimKardashian," one tweet read and another said, "@KrisJenner... you are ALL despicable! @TaylorSwift is a wonderful girl and she does NOT deserve to be bullied !!! #Shame on YOU #KanyeWestIsOverParty."
Many fans have come to Swift's defense, saying, "What a sneaky wee shite #KanyeWest But, I still love his music. Do the right thing & apologize to #taylorswift. She's been through hell You as well #kimkardashian People who tell lies always get caught."
Another posted, "I don’t NEED a leaked Call...too prove to me that #KanyeWest is a JERK! Mr West, I think JESUS wouldn’t be happy with you samplin’ his name either... I think You trifflin’ indeed. Ooh yeez a gold digger, way over time, That digs on she...#TaylorSwift #KanyeWestIsOverParty."
After the call leak, at least Swift's name has been cleared out of the controversy. However, there seems to be no end to her feud with West.
