It looks like the end of an era for the eldest Kardashian sibling, Kourtney, as she revealed that she will be taking a break from her family's reality TV show 'Keeping Up with The Kardashians.'

The mother of three, during an interview on November 7, said she had decided to step back from the show that brought the family immense fame to focus on being a mother. "I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there", reported Entertainment Tonight.

"But I'm not saying goodbye... I think you'll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18. It isn't airing yet, but it's being filmed. Currently, in this room."

Kourtney's sisters Kim and Khloe said that they would really miss filming the show with their sister. "We definitely love Kourtney and we will miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do, but people come, people go all the time in this family," Khloe shared.

"We feel like it's a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, she'll be back. They all come back," she continued. Kourtney has three children with her former partner Scott Disick — Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4.

It was just last month that Khloe, 35, and her sister Kourtney were seen on a wild girls' trip. The Kardashian sisters and their friends were seen jumping off a boat into the ocean. They were also seen partying with a large bunch of friends that included Larsa Pippen, the Haqq twins, and Steph Shep amongst many others.

We had earlier reported that a previous episode of 'KUWTK' showed Khloe asking Kourtney if she'd be happy if the show ended. The oldest Kardashian sister immediately responds with "Yeah, who cares?". That said, rumors of Kourtney quitting the show had been doing rounds for years.
