Kourtney Kardashian is jealous of sister Kylie Jenner's relationship with Travis Scott
Kourtney couldn't help but feel a small tinge of jealousy after seeing the chemistry that Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner shared on their recent GQ photoshoot
Looks like Kourtney Kardashian wants to take a page out of her sister Kylie Jenner's romance book. Kylie recently did a cover shoot along with her beau Travis Scott for their joint interview in Vogue, and it looks like Kourtney couldn't help but feel a little tinge of jealousy at the amazing chemistry that Travis and Kylie share.
“Kourtney was even jealous at how poised and loving Travis seemed in the video,” a source close to the famous family told Hollywood Life recently. “Kourtney wishes she could have a relationship with Younes as healthy and fun as Kylie’s, instead of worrying about him making rude comments on her Instagram again. Kourtney was envious of her little sister after seeing that, for sure.”
The comment from the family source comes after Kourtney's boyfriend Younes Bendjima recently made some pretty nasty comments on one of her Instagram pictures. Kourtney, the eldest Kardashian sibling, decided to set her Instagram page ablaze by posting yet another photo in a floral bikini, not shying away from flashing her butt. But her 25-year-old boyfriend took it upon himself to seemingly chastise her for provocatively showing all that skin to her whopping 64 million followers, simultaneously also accusing her of using revealing photos for gaining likes.
Kourtney's bikini shot was captioned: "Don’t be shady, be a lady," and showed her kneeling down, turning back to smile for the camera. Following that, in a comment that has been since deleted, her model-cum-boxer boyfriend Younes wrote: “That's what you need to show to get likes?" before removing the comment.
But the army of fans that Kourt has garnered on her social media did their due diligence by taking screenshots and firing the exact same comment under recent shirtless photos of Younes. "You gotta show THIS to get likes?" one of them wrote. Another said: "Is this what YOU need to show to get likes? Boy Bye! Don't come for our queen."
On the other hand, Kylie and Travis seem to be in the absolute prime of their relationship, and the couple, even though extremely private, have impressed the Kardashian-Jenner clan with how Travis has stepped up for Kylie. And this has also led to Kourtney's jealousy. “After her GQ article, all of Kylie’s sisters have been teasing her about having the cutest, healthiest relationship in the family,” the source says, adding that, “Khloe and even Rob (Kardashian) loved the video.”
“Kim (Kardashian) is especially proud of Kylie. She told Kylie that between her makeup empire, her magazine covers, her adorable daughter with her loving boyfriend, Kylie is having a great year,” the insider says. “Kim is convinced that compared to the rocky year that some of the other sisters had, Kylie and Travis just might be the unlikely, strongest, happiest and most stable relationship in the Kardashian family.”
In a recent joint interview that both Kylie and Travis did for GQ, the couple explained the reason why they aren't pictured publicly a lot.
During the interview, Mark Anthony Green brought up the question about their appearances together after noticing that, although Kylie jumped at the idea of doing a photoshoot for their feature, Travis seemed pretty uncomfortable about it to the point where Green called it “medieval torture” for him. However, Kylie stepped in to answer his question in the best manner that she could.
“I don't think he's really cool with [the scrutiny], but he deals with it because we love each other and we have a family. For sure, I know he doesn't like the attention,” Kylie said. “That's why we just go the extra mile to keep our relationship super private. If he has events or something, I won't come because I want him to do his own thing. I want him to be him. I don't want it to be Kylie and Trav. If people don't ever see us together, that's okay with me, because we just do our thing.”
Kylie also explained that the dynamics of their relationship are quite different from other people's since both she and Travis have to spend a lot of time in the public eye. And that is exactly how she wants to do away with Scott Disick's version of the 'Kardashian Curse' which necessarily means that men dating Kardashian-Jenner women end up dealing with a lot of drama which comes from their immense fame.
Speaking about the alleged curse, Kylie said, "(The boyfriends) come and can’t handle it. I know these stories aren’t going to matter, so don’t even let them affect you, you know? It’s not just men — it’s friends, it’s people who come and just don’t know how to handle it. It’s the negativity. There’s a lot of people who love us, but there’s also a huge handful of people who don’t like us."
On the other hand, earlier this month, Kourtney Kardashian just celebrated her daughter Penelope's sixth birthday and has been traveling around Italy with her children for the past few weeks. Kourtney celebrated her daughter's birthday while aboard a luxury yacht in Portofino.
The 39-year-old reality TV star sported a tiny brown two-piece suit as she decided to take a plunge into the sea with her daughter and her son Mason who is currently eight years old. Kourtney also enjoyed a late night deck session with her mother and momager Kris Jenner after which she decided to cool off with a swim while showing off her abs and gorgeous body in a nude-colored thong bikini.
